Welcome to the Fuzz Factory, a supreme rock & roll parlor.

It’s that time of the year. You cannot turn on the radio without hearing an advertisement about Valentine’s Day. I am not making a judgement, just an observation. The importance of Valentine’s Day depends on a few factors and we all know what they are. This is my way to observe the tradition.

Well, in the spirit of the season, I have decided to visit one of the most authentic expressions of love, the song about love. The subject of love (in all its variations) is the most common one in rock & roll music. Every genre and almost every artist has approached the subject in their own way. Since I literally have thousands of songs to choose from, I decided to go with only songs that put love in the title. Tune in tonight for Part One of the Fuzz Factory Many Sides Of Love special feature.

The playlist will be even more diverse than a typical episode of the Fuzz Factory. The subject matter calls for it. There are many sides to love. This playlist covers a lot of territory in that regard. Expect a few surprises and a bit of genre hopping. Tune in tonight from 8-10 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (www.scadatlantaradio.org).

Love Is In The (Title)

“Is this love, baby. Or is it confusion?” – Jimi Hendrix

Love is many emotions wrapped up in one little four-letter word and those emotions run through you like a revolving door. These days I’ve been feeling in and out of love. Love this, love that. Love is everything, love is anything. Love may not even be about love. Therefore I decided to approach the subject this week with a different take. Love is in the title, the name of the song.

Happy Valentine’s Day. May you all find the love you want, need and deserve.

Tune into the Fuzz Factory, TONIGHT from 8-10 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (www.scadatlantaradio.org).
