1/26/17: Fuzz Factory Sweden

20681805194_896922be30_b

I’m always psyched to bring the Fuzz Factory to anyone willing to listen. This week I was super psyched. Why? Because the entire show was dedicated to one place, Sweden. In case you weren’t aware, Sweden is the Fuzz Capitol of the World. SO much excellent hard rock, psychedelic rock and fuzz/stoner rock comes out of that country. It’s actually kind of amazing.

The timing of this theme is due to the upcoming Truckfighters concert. Next Tuesday, my favorite of all Swedish bands is playing the Drunken Unicorn in Atlanta. I’ll be there. I cannot wait.

Listen to the Fuzz Factory on SCAD Atlanta Radio (www.scadatlantaradio.org) every Thursday from 8-10 PM (EST).

Until the next time, catch you on the flip side. Here’s the super fat fuzzy 100% Swedish playlist:

1/12/17: The Limiñanas

the-liminanas-2

The Limiñanas, say it again…the Limiñanas. Get to know this band. They’re my favorite French band of all time. To me they’re the ultimate film noir rock & roll band. Fully completely drenched in a sophisticated French attitude. I love their sound.

I also played songs from Serge Gainsbourg, the originator of what I’m referring to as the noir rock sound. I also played a few songs from contemporary French artists as well as a few songs with lyrics in French. How about that? Oui, oui!

Feeling Fuzzy & A Bit French

the-liminanas

As you probably know, I’m always feeling a little fuzzy. But this week, for whatever reason, I’m feeling a bit European, even French. Yeah, you heard me. Therefore I wanted to feature my favorite French band of all time, the Limiñanas. To me they’re the ultimate film noir rock & roll band. Fully drenched in a sophisticated French attitude.

In addition, I’ll play a couple other French artists as well as a few songs with lyrics in French. Oui, oui!

Profiter de la musique.
