It’ll temporarily sound a little more like a classic rock station around here. Tonight and next Thursday the Fuzz Factory will be featuring artists in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Why now? Because I am headed to Cleveland next month to see the Hall for myself. I’ll be meeting my parents there too. Should be a fun time.
We’ll also ponder the question of why there even is a hall of fame for rock & roll? It’s a good question that is worth asking, simply because there is a lot of subjectivity involved in determining who is inducted and who is not included in place like this. That’s the case around the fringes of any institution like this one. Especially one dedicated to the influence of personal expression.
Join me in the Fuzz Factory this week for the first of two Rock & Roll Hall of Fame shows, featuring only music from members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Thursday nights from 8-11 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (www.scadatlantaradio.org). These will be the final three hour shows of the summer.
