See You Next Week

Hello – I just realized I never posted the playlist from last week. I am also here to announce that I will not have a show tonight. Back next week. Back even sooner with that playlist.

In the meantime, enjoy some People Mover, by the one and only People Mover, a band of sasquatches.

You’re welcome.

Regratification Process_2

Last night I spoke about my artwork. I was preparing for that in every free moment since the show last Thursday night. Therefore, since I had barely any time to prepare for the show this week I decided this week I would use a playlist I started making last year. The Compare/Contrast feature tonight is Dramarama and Grant Lee Buffalo. Both are excellent, under-appreciated American rock and roll bands that made music primarily in the 90’s. I chose to feature these bands together becuase they both wrote about American life and the American experience in practically every note of every song. I’ve posted a few videos below.

As I mentioned the other day, I wish I were on a trip this week. A trip to Levitation – 2015 Austin Psych Fest (http://www.austinpsychfest.com). Gonna have to get there next year. As a tribute to the festival itself and the opportunity to attend in the future, I decided to dedicate the entire Fuzz Factory playlist to bands playing at the Levitation festival this weekend.

The Levitation Show (2015 Austin Psych Fest)

I wish I were on a trip this week. A trip to Texas for some psychedelic rock. This weekend is Austin Psych Fest. Really wanted to be there but just couldn’t swing it. The lineup is incredible (http://www.austinpsychfest.com). I have made a commitment for 2016. Gotta get there before it gets too big and too expensive.

The entire Fuzz Factory program tonight will feature bands playing at Levitation this weekend. Tune in if you can. Below I have posted a bunch of videos from artists playing at Austin Psych Fest this weekend.
