4/23/15: Fuzz Factory Dance Party Groove Remix

10835484_10154024720469897_7886855284649719949_oNow for something completely different. Well, sort of different, that’s certainly true. Different enough to make the other DJ’s present in the studio to wonder what happened to their Fuzz Factory. Yes, last week it was the Fuzz Factory. In other words – it smells like boogie in here – time to dance!

That’s right, last week you heard less alternative rock, less psychedelic rock, less loud guitar and a lot more of an electronica groove thing and remixed versions of rock & roll. Sometimes you gotta just keep the body moving. So hopefully you tuned in and let the bass line get ya.

The Fuzz Factory with Brett Callero. Saving rock & roll radio, one week at a time. Check it out Thursdays from 8-10 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (http://www.scadatlantaradio.org).

Back to the full on rock & roll in two weeks (no Fuzz next week). In the meantime, get up, get get get down and shake it cuz you got it. Here’s the playlist from the Fuzz Factory Dance Party Groove Remix!

Fuzz Factory Dance Party Groove Remix

Tune into the Fuzz Factory Thursday night from 8-10 PM (EST) for what I am calling the Fuzz Factory Dance Party Groove. Inspiration by the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion concert last Thursday, I wanted to focus on songs that keep my (and your) body moving. You know what I’m sayin’, songs that make you shake your booty, yo. So tonight there will be a dance party groove in the Factory.

Therefore, this week you will hear less alternative rock sound, less psychedelic rock sound, less loud guitar sound and a lot more of an electronica groove thing and remixed versions of rock & roll.

So let the bass line get ya and tune in for some of this…

Research & Development: Exploding The Blues!

I got the flavor!

You can call it Fuzz Factory research and development. There will be no Fuzz Factory this week. Instead I will be exploding the blues with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. Still one of the best live acts around.

I’ll be back next Thursday with more rock & roll for one and all. For you too!

In the meantime…Blues Explosion! The Blues, is #1, the Blues is #1!

4/9/15: Music By The Numbers

woodblocks

Death and taxes. You can count on both. Yep, it’s tax season, something I am always well aware of since half of the adults in my family are accountants. Tax season. That’s why it was music by the numbers in the Fuzz Factory last week. It all adds up to two hours of great rock & roll music. Get it? Got it. Good.
