Iggy Pop = Wild America

This was the first song I played on the America show Thursday night. I decided to begin with an abrasive look at our country from Michigan native, Mr. Iggy Pop. Look a little closer – you’ll see that there are not many rock & roll singers more American than Iggy Pop. He’s certainly an authority on Wild America.

This holiday is over, goodnight.

7/3/14: Fuzz Factory Over America

fireworks

Today is Independence Day, the 4th of July. A reminder that we have many freedoms, including the free will associated with independent thought. Don’t forget to think for yourself.

In honor of Independence Day, I amended my geography special feature and only played songs about America. Of course, I had a ton of great music to choose from. I pulled out all the stops, playing music from today and from the last 40 years (or so) on the Fuzz Factory Over America Special Feature.

Tune in THURSDAY nights from 8-11 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (www.scadatlantaradio.org). for the Fuzz Factory with Brett Callero. That’s all I have for now. Time to celebrate my independent thought over a cold beer (or two). See you next week in place for great rock & roll, the Fuzz Factory with Brett Callero.
