Fighting Trucks

Truckfighter at Truck Stop

Last week I was on the road fighting trucks. Not really, but I realized I was wearing this shirt and had to take a photo at a truck stop. I had to get back on the road quick, I didn’t want to have to explain that my shirt is the name of a band from Sweden to a group of angry truckers.

The Fuzz Factory returns next Thursday night from 8-11 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio. Be there. Get your real rock & roll fix.

The Fuzz Factory with Brett Callero, saving rock & roll radio – one week at a time.

Bear rock band

Last week the Fuzz Factory returned to a favorite special feature, the animal kingdom. Animals have always provided great metaphors for rock & roll music. This week we explored that territory by playing great songs with animal titles. Needless to say – it was a wild rocking time. Enjoy reading the playlist and see what you heard (or missed) in the latest Rock & Roll Zoo Special Feature.

Make sure to tune into the Fuzz Factory this week. Three more hours of great rock & roll coming at you this Thursday, 8-11 PM (EST).

6/12/14: Day & Time

skyline_multiple image

It’s about time. Yes, I am finally posting the playlist from over a week ago. As you know, last week I was in Chicago. It’s also about time, as in the subject of the playlist being posted. That’s because the previous Fuzz Factory Special Feature was a new one, Day & Time. All songs about days of the week and times of the day. So yeah, it was about specific day & time.

It all seems appropriate in many other ways as well. My road trip to Chicago was a time warp! I celebrated my Dad’s 70th birthday with family and other people I have not seen in years. I also met up with friends from grade school, high school, college, graduate school and all else between yesterday and today. Therefore the day and time references are really on point.

Summer is now officially here. I’m back in town – time for rock & roll. Make sure you tune into the Fuzz Factory this Thursday 6/26 from 8-11 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (

Here’s the playlist. It’s about time.

Road Trip = Inspiration

I’m off on a road trip later this morning. Headed to my hometown in Chicago and stopping on the way in Louisville. Driving means inspiration. Look for a bunch of ideas coming your way later this summer.

I’ll be back in the Fuzz Factory on 6/26. In the meantime, here’s some appropriate destination music.

This Week It’s About Day & Time

Just a quick announcement. The Fuzz Factory is open for service tomorrow night. I originally expected to be out of town but now I am not. Hooray! Fuzz Factory time.

This week, the Special Feature will be Day & Time. All songs about days of the week and times of the day. It’s about time.
