2/6/14: Tool, A Perfect Circle & Puscifer

MaynardMaynard

The great Atlanta blizzard of 2014 did not stop the rock this week. The Fuzz Factory with Brett Callero returned after being snowed out last Thursday night. It’s been a stressful time for me outside in the reality show of actual life. It’s cold out, I’ve been feeling numb. Therefore, the cold, industrial, progressive metal sound of Tool is what I’ve gravitated towards lately. I decided they’d form the basis of an appropriate Compare/Contrast feature. Just the right level of high intensity for a week of long hard days like the ones these last few weeks have provided in abundance.

The final lengthy set of music this week was the Compare/Contrast feature comprised of Tool and side projects, A Perfect Circle and Puscifer, from main man Maynard James Keenan.

Tune in and turn it up! THURSDAY nights from 8-10 PM (EST) on SCAD-Atlanta Radio (www.scadtlantaradio.org). Go ahead and tell the world.
