6/28/13: Blind Melon

This time on the Fuzz Factory, the greatly under-appreciated 90’s band Blind Melon, was the special feature. Unfortunately, Blind Melon is best known for one song and their song catalog was relatively small. Therefore the one-hit wonder moniker has been easily and loosely applied to their career. I feel that Blind Melon played a pivotal role in alternative rock and deserve more credit than they receive. They are the truest link between what many classify as “grunge” and “jam” rock.

There are so many under-appreciated bands that have come and gone over the years. Educating the listener by bringing more that what is typical and showing appreciation for the best hard rock out there is why the this show exists. That’s why you need to tell people to tune into the Fuzz Factory – a guitar-centric rock and roll radio experience that features fat riffs, funky grooves and psychedelic pop twists from the last 30 years.

Here is the playlist. Settle in, listen and dig it.
